To catch up with changes search engine optimization process become a continues process with daily checking, correction, updates and changes. Today we talk about one super important part called Schema.org vocabulary encoded as Microdata or JSON-LD. They are used for structured data extensible schemas. Correct implementation of this tool let web developers provide search engines with better way to understand web page content.
It was founded by Google, Microsoft, Yahoo and Yandex on June 2, 2011, and these days over ten million sites are using Schema.org to markup their content. This small not visible to visitors markup code significantly increases chance for a web page to be displayed as a featured snippet. And this makes schema a valuable tool for effective SEO.

This name either already owned by someone and put on sale or register believe that particularly this domain should be sold for a higher price. There are many reasons why. Usually these are short, easy to remember names, often directly connected with service or product category, aria or city, profession. The price for already owned domain might go up to thousands of dollars, while new names will be three four times more than ordinary name with the same extension.

Meta Description Length

Meta description and meta title are both an HTML tag attributes in page headers section that provides a brief summary of a web page content. Search engines like Google or Yahoo display them in search results. First title that is linked to a web page and right below meta description. While both, meta description or meta title, might be any length size the preview space for a long time limited their sized to 55-56 for titles and 160 for description. Recently Google made an updated and increased visible length for both tags. Now search results show 76-77 characters for title and sometime up to 220 characters for meta description.
Alexa recommends limiting web page title to 60 characters and keep description below 320 characters.
Remember, that title tag is the most important meta tag for search engines, description is the second. Try to use your most important keywords in title and then repeating them in description.

Security Release 7.67 Drupal

Earlier today Drupal ORG announced an important update 7.67 that fixes security vulnerabilities and urged to upgrade immediately sites effected. There were no changes made to the .htaccess, web.config, robots.txt or default settings.php files. That means no need to update custom versions of those files if your site is already on the previous release.

First make a backup! There are four main ways to update Drupal core if you already have an existing website. The easiest one, recommended for newcomers, is manual download of a new Drupal archive file version, uploading it to your website home folder and extracting file archive. Second put website in maintenance mode, and delete all former Drupal files except the sites directory and .htaccess, web.config, robots.txt or default settings.php files for this release. Run update.php. and switch off maintenance mode.

WordPress Downsides to Consider

In last years WordPress become content management system that took the biggest market share and now over 70% of all CMS sites run on its core. Yes it is very popular, plus it has tons of plugins and professional themes developed for it. But what are the cons of using WordPress?
There are several. Remember, WordPress was created as blogging platform and that is what is does the best, most of extra features and functionality enhancement achieved via additional plugins. These plugins might be produced by an individual or small companies and do not include comprehensive and up to date support. Their development and update might be postponed or simply dropped off. While WordPress core gets regular updates, its components like themes and plugins might delay their ones causing breaks in theme behavior and look. This gap in time often compromises website security and it is one of the reasons WP sites so often under attack. With millions and millions websites running on its core WordPress become a lucrative target. This platform is ideal when you need to create website quick with minimum cost, but is limited if you want to modify it yourself and have more control over it.
