Divi Plugin Highlight: WP and Divi Icons
WP and Divi Icons is a third-party plugin for WordPress that works with any WordPress theme and integrates into the Divi Builder. For use with Divi, it includes exclusive layouts you can use in your projects. The icons are available in the WordPress editor and in any Divi module that allows you to choose icons. In this article, we’ll take a look at WP and Divi Icons and see what makes it stand apart from the crowd.
WP and Divi Icons adds over 2500 icons to WordPress. It includes Font Awesome Icons, Material Icons, and 450 custom designed icons including 48 multi-colored icons. It’s available in both a free and a pro edition. I’m testing the pro edition.

Essential Grid: A Detailed Overview and Review
ThemePunch makes some of the most popular plugins out there for WordPress. Essential Grid is one of the top earners in their library, right alongside Slider Revolution. Over time, Essential Grid has become one of the most sought-after and most successful plugins on CodeCanyon. So we wanted to give the plugin a highlight and let you folks decide if it’s something that could improve your sites.
Essential Grid
Grid plugins aren’t uncommon. In fact, our own Divi builder has a Portfolio module that serves this purpose. But Essential Grid goes far beyond what most other grid plugins have done, which is why even after many themes are including their own custom grid templates, folks are still buying EG licenses every single day....
How to Use Divi’s Dynamic Content Feature to Design a Dynamic Post Layout
Divi’s new Dynamic Content feature gives us the ability to build dynamic layout for blog posts (and a lot more). And there are good reasons you may consider doing this. One reason is design. You can design some amazing post layouts with Divi using the visual builder, especially when you use the premade layouts available as a starting point. Another reason is convenience. Once the post layout is designed with all the dynamic content elements in place (like categories, featured images, post tags, custom fields, etc.), the process of creating and updating blog posts is greatly simplified. Other than the actual post content, all of the other post data can be updated without ever having to deploy the visual builder.
In this tutorial, I’m going to show you how to build a dynamic post layout in Divi. By starting with a premade layout, I’ll walk you through the process of adding dynamic content throughout the layout and then designing that content to match. I’ll even introduce a simple way to use custom fields as dynamic content.
Let’s get started.

The Ultimate Guide to HTTPS and SSL for WordPress
You have probably noticed over the past few years that many of your favorite websites have moved from HTTP addresses to HTTPS. The added letter, while adding very little time and effort to type, adds immense value and security to those websites. Not only will having a WordPress HTTPS site make your business more trustworthy to visitors, but it will also rank higher in searches.
What is HTTPS?
If HTTP stands for hypertext transfer protocol. HTTPS stands for hypertext transfer protocol secure. The Mozilla Developer Network (MDN) has a fantastic, straightforward definition for the protocol:
HTTPS (HTTP Secure) is an encrypted version of the HTTP protocol. It usually uses SSL or TLS to encrypt all communication between a client and a server. This secure connection allows clients to safely exchange sensitive data with a server, for example for banking activities or online shopping.
If you have heard of end-to-end encryption, this is that. Only the two clients involved in the transaction can read the data. Anyone who might intercept it will see a garbled mess of characters that are theoretically uncrackable.
Sounds pretty good, right? So how does one get this digital force field? Via SSL.
What is SSL?
SSL stands for secure sockets layer, and once again the MDN can explain it better than pretty much anyone out there:
[SSL] is a protocol used by applications to communicate securely...
