From v1 reCAPTCHA has continuously evolved its technology over the last ten years. With v2 Google added some improvements in user experience and security. And now with v3 Google intend to “fundamentally change how sites can test for human vs. bot activities” as it announced in its official press release. More accurate bot detection with “Actions” and the “flexibility to prevent spam and abuse in the way that best fits your website” two main changes and additions of reCAPTCHA v3. This version runs adaptive risk analysis in the background and provide a score that tells a website owner how suspicious a user interaction is. This score will go from 0.1 for bad to 1 for good. And based on these scores' website administrators could adjust security settings. And for the end user Google promised more secure and easier interaction with websites.
